Mercy Flight Central Hosts Successful Clays for a Cause Fundraising Event

Mercy Flight Central is proud to announce the success of its Clays for a Cause fundraising event, held on Friday, September 12th at Vernon National Shooting Preserve. The event brought together community members, supporters, and partners for a day of camaraderie, competition, and commitment to advancing lifesaving air medical services across Upstate New York.

This year’s event was honored by the presence of Assemblymember Marianne Buttenschon and Madison County Sheriff Todd Hood, whose participation highlighted the strong community support for Mercy Flight Central’s mission.

“Clays for a Cause is about more than just a great day outdoors—it’s about strengthening the partnerships that make it possible for us to be there when it matters most,” said Jeff Bartkoski, Mercy Flight Central President CEO. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who came out in support and look forward to next year's event.”

Funds raised from Clays for a Cause will directly support Mercy Flight Central’s critical operations, ensuring that highly trained flight crews and advanced medical resources remain ready 24/7, 365 days a year for patients in need.

Mercy Flight Central extends heartfelt thanks to Vernon National Shooting Preserve for hosting, as well as to the event sponsors, participants, and volunteers who made the day such a success.
