Join us July 30th, 2005 for the 1st
Annual Ride for Mercy. The ride begins in beautiful
Canandaigua New York at the Mercy Flight Central base at
2420 Brickyard Road. Mercy Flight Central is a non-profit
air ambulance service serving more than 3 million residents
of the Finger Lakes and Central New York region. All
proceeds go to benefit the continued operation of Mercy
Flight Central.

There will be three separate rides: a 100
mile ride, a 62 mile (metric Century) ride and a 15 mile
family/children’s ride. The century will head northeast to
Lake Ontario and on to Sodus Bay wandering many country
roads. The metric century will incorporate a portion of the
100 miler but will not travel as far north. The 15 miler
will remain in the Canandaigua/Bloomfield areas. All routes
will be comprised of well marked and rural roads.

Support:
There will be frequent SAG stops with food
and nourishment for all riders and will include restroom
facilities. Also included will be basic mechanical support
provided by local bike mechanics, as well as medical
support.
Post-ride events will include a BBQ dinner
($7.00 for non riders), musical entertainment, and an
after-event massage for $1 per minute. Many Door prizes will
be available.
The Century ride will start at 7:00 AM,
the Metric Century will start at 8:00 AM, and the Family
Ride will start at 9:30. The course will be cleared at
4:00pm.
